There are songs that stay with us — songs that give voice to what our hearts already know to be true.
For Roger Miller, one song that holds special meaning is “The Goodness of God.” Its words echo a lifetime of faith, gratitude, and trust in a God who has been faithful through every season.
The chorus declares what so many of us have experienced:
All my life you have been faithful.
All my life you have been so, so good.
With every breath that I am able
I will sing of the goodness of God.
When we sing these words together as a congregation, they become more than lyrics. They become testimony. They remind us that God’s goodness is not confined to one moment or milestone, but woven through every breath, every joy, every challenge, and every ordinary day.
Below, you’ll find a link to a video from January 2024 of our congregation singing “The Goodness of God” together. As you watch and listen, we invite you to reflect on the many ways God has been faithful in your own life — and to join in praising Him for His goodness.
