Day 27
It’s Day 27 of #30DaysOfLearning. There’s only three days left of our #30Days journey, but don’t feel down. We’ve got two videos scheduled for today!

First up, Milton 6th grader Yarden Wilkenfeld was inspired to make her own video for our #30Days and send it in. Enjoy the content, creativity, and special effects (yes!) as Yarden explains the halachot of building a kosher sukkah.

Then, Sandy Walter returns for the Sukkot edition of the high holiday gardening series by nurturing our personal growth with her green thumbs. Watch all the way to the end for a special Sukkah surprise!

Up next:  Richard Friedman joins us again to discuss when to crown the king: how a mishnaic debate creates a coronation.

Last call for lulav and etrog! Order yours on the OKC website ASAP to make sure you have one ready to shake, shake, shake this Sukkot. Then, sign up for a Sukkot Family Dinner Date. We’ll dine together through the wonder of Zoom, and get buddied up with a few new families to get to know every few minutes while we dine. Think of it like outdoor family speed dating. Yeah. Like that.

Let’s discover our connection points to one another! We will ask you to share fun facts about yourself, offer personal reflections, and engage in interesting conversation points. For each of these thirty days, we will introduce one new topic a day. Today’s topic:

Hey teenagers! It’s time for some pizza in the hut. OKUSY has a program just right for teen-aged bonding with a pizza bake and Zoom dinner

Want to be part of the fun? Send videos and content related to the High Holy Days and watch our community get even closer… a little social distance can’t keep OKC members apart!
