Building the Rising Generations - Glorifying Jesus Christ through Distinctive Education

DAY 30

Philippians 3:13, 14

We all recognize that we have been saved (our eternal destiny secured) by God's grace with, among other God-ordained purposes, the specific intent that we accomplish "good works which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:8-10).

One of the "works" which God permits us to join with Him to accomplish is to secure the investment of time and resources (not only personal but those of others) in matters which have eternal impact and consequences for His Kingdom.

The Nazareth Baptist School (NBS) has been used greatly by God to advance His Kingdom and to be the instrument through which He has transformed and continues to transform lives in perhaps the most historic and challenging mission field in the world. The strategic spiritual and political significance of this area should not be overlooked. God has called us and given us the strategic opportunity to help strengthen and nurture the ministry and influence of our Lord through NBS through helping to raise the funds necessary to secure the land and then build the facilities through which to multiply the resources and impact of this ministry. God is the promise keeper. He has promised to supply all of our needs through His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). I am convinced that God has called each of us to actively engage in the process by which His resources are appropriated for the benefit of His Kingdom. Jesus commanded and invited us to "ask," to "seek," to "knock" and in so doing to receive, to find and to have opened for us the things of God (Matthew 7:7, 8). It is not an overstatement to realize that God will not do without prayer what He has promised to do through prayer. Further, as God gives us direction, we must put our feet in motion through prayer and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Praise God for His high calling.  PRESS ON (Philippians 3:13, 14).

DAY 30

1.  Pray for wisdom as we tap into God's limitless resources to identify those whom God has called to join us in investing in this ministry.

 2.   Pray for the courage and commitment to issue the call to each such person to step up and do all that we can do to assist NBS to impact the world for Christ.

Friends of Nazareth (FON) was formed in 2006 under the umbrella of Training in Mission Evangelism (T.I.M.E.), a 501 (c) (3) corporation located in Huntsville, Alabama. T.I.M.E. is a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

FON exists to serve the Nazareth Baptist School, a day school started by Southern Baptists in 1936 in our Lord's hometown. As one of the top rated schools by the Ministry of Education, it is the only K-12 evangelical school in Israel.

Our goal is to help the Nazareth Baptist School maintain its high credentials and provide Christian education to a greater number of Arab students from both Christian and Muslim families. To do this it is necessary to relocate the school.

All donations to FON are tax deductible to US taxpayers. FON never sells your name to any organization and it complies with all national and international tax laws.
