Opening Plenary: Learning to Earning

The day begins in the Grand Ballroom with an energizing opening plenary that centers the voices of GlobalMindED graduates. These emerging leaders share how education and experience have propelled them toward meaningful careers—and how institutions can better support multigenerational economic mobility.

  • Early Learning – Bold thinking and funding strategies for the 0–10 age group
  • K–12 Education – Student agency, AI integration, and dual enrollment
  • Higher Education – Trusteeship, liberal arts, and tribal college models
  • STEAM & Tech – Innovation in engineering, space exploration, and digital equity
  • Health & Wellness – Workforce resilience and the future of healthcare
  • Global Work Skills – Latino leadership, apprenticeships, and nontraditional pathways
  • Policy, Foundations, and Entrepreneurship – Strategies that align investment with impact

Speakers include a diverse mix of students, executives, educators, entrepreneurs, and government leaders—all focused on building a more inclusive and opportunity-rich future.

Networking Reception

To close the day, attendees gather for a lively Tuesday Evening Networking Reception from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the South Convention Lobby. This is a chance to reflect, connect, and build new collaborations with changemakers from around the country.
