Day Two of the GlobalMindED Conference brings the full conference community together for a packed schedule of thought-provoking sessions, cross-sector collaboration, and actionable insights. The focus is clear: how education, access, and innovation can translate into lasting economic mobility.
Opening Plenary: Learning to Earning
The day begins in the Grand Ballroom with an energizing opening plenary that centers the voices of GlobalMindED graduates. These emerging leaders share how education and experience have propelled them toward meaningful careers—and how institutions can better support multigenerational economic mobility.
Breakout Sessions Across 15 Tracks
Throughout the day, attendees choose from over a dozen tracks spanning:
- Early Learning – Bold thinking and funding strategies for the 0–10 age group
- K–12 Education – Student agency, AI integration, and dual enrollment
- Higher Education – Trusteeship, liberal arts, and tribal college models
- STEAM & Tech – Innovation in engineering, space exploration, and digital equity
- Health & Wellness – Workforce resilience and the future of healthcare
- Global Work Skills – Latino leadership, apprenticeships, and nontraditional pathways
- Policy, Foundations, and Entrepreneurship – Strategies that align investment with impact
Speakers include a diverse mix of students, executives, educators, entrepreneurs, and government leaders—all focused on building a more inclusive and opportunity-rich future.
Workshops and Deeper Conversations
Hands-on workshops dive into topics like program design for first-gen students, rural economic opportunity, and storytelling for systems change. These sessions offer space for active learning and co-creation across roles and sectors.
Networking Reception
To close the day, attendees gather for a lively Tuesday Evening Networking Reception from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the South Convention Lobby. This is a chance to reflect, connect, and build new collaborations with changemakers from around the country.
