An Urgent Last Minute Capital Campaign Ask
DayBreak needs your help!
Won't you please engage in this last minute, critical push as some of our previously committed funding has now fallen through and DayBreak is in need of crunch time dollars to complete the purchase of the our new facility at 312 N. West Street on March 29th.
If you can help, or if you know of any individuals or organizations who would be able to make a substantial contribution to DayBreak prior to March 29th, please have them contact Paula at 719-331-3640 or 719-687-3000 as soon as possible.
Any amount will be greatly appreciated and donors giving at a level of $1,000.00 or more will be acknowledged on a customed designed accelerated donors plaque, which will be befittingly displayed in DayBreak's reception area at the new location.
As the first and only program of its kind, DayBreak's programming has served over 220 participants and family members not only in Teller, but in El Paso and Park counties as well- providing much needed, well deserved respite for caregivers throughout the Pikes Peak Region.
Please help us make the transition and settle into our first year of operations. With this new facility comes 1,500+ more square feet and room to accommodate up to 3 times as many participants on a daily basis.
Our participants, their families, and our DayBreak team are most grateful for your support. You can click on the link below to make your donation now:

Volunteer Spotlight: Deb Stover
DayBreak's RN Consultant
Deb Stover, originally from Portis, KA, resides here in beautiful Woodland Park with her husband of 30 years, Dan. They have two children together, Kate- who currently lives in Eugene, OR and Josh- who has stayed a little closer to home in Grand Junction, CO. In her spare time, Deb enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and close friends.

Deb and Paula have been friends for over 20 years. When her mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Paula attended their family meetings and offered straight-forward information and other necessary resources. After reflecting on their relationship, Deb continued, “I was happy to join the volunteer team as DayBreak's RN Consultant. DayBreak is an amazing place that performs an amazing service to our community.” Thank you for your commitment to our participants and staff Deb! We love you!
