In him Jesus was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.,,,  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

~John 1:4-5

Light for the Darker Days

As we move into shorter days and longer nights, it is good to remember darkness cannot overcome light. Where there is light, darkness fades away. However, darkness cannot makethe light go away unless we move away from the light. If we keep in His light, we see darkness, but it cannot overtake us unless we turn away.

There is so much darkness in the world today that sometimes it is difficult to be an optimist. It is up to us to who have the light of Christ within us to keep the light going in the world. Stay connected to the light of Christ. As we are in the light of Christ, we can reflect that light to the darkness in the world.

In Christ, you are in God's light and can be God's light in the world. As days grow shorter and nights are longer, remember that no darkness can overcome God’s light in you!
