Volunteer registration is now open for Days of Caring, two sequential days of volunteerism scheduled for Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th. Nearly 400 volunteers are needed to help with 34 outdoor and indoor projects at nonprofit agencies across Henderson County.

Volunteers may also assist with the National Letter Carriers Annual Food Drive on Saturday, which will support local food pantries.

Whether you are registering yourself, a family or a corporate team, please visit our website to get started. Detailed instructions are listed for each type of registration and when you arrive at our sign up page, you'll have the opportunity to preview each project and sign up one or more people at the same time.

Outdoor projects will include mulching and outdoor beautification, playground construction, painting/staining, and much more! Indoor projects will include cleaning and organizing, plus signing notes of appreciation for local healthcare workers.

Register by April 8th to get a t-shirt. All registrations close May 10th.
