Tony Hudzinski has been integral to the ongoing success of the 2026 Chamber Golf Committee, helping the Chamber to ensure financial stability at a time of transitioning revenue streams. Thank you Tony for bringing energy and your connections to the 2026 Golf Committee and to the Wisco Team for the warm welcome!

Jim and Gloria Sjolander have exemplified the mission of Scouting America since 2013 through their leadership of Cub Scout Pack 35, mentoring youth and volunteers, leading community service efforts, and making a lasting impact on the DeForest area.

New Venture of the Year: Roasty Toasty

Roxana Perozo Gray and her business partner Carolina have made a strong impact with Roasty Toasty by building a community-focused coffee shop that actively engages with and supports the local area through partnerships, events, and inclusive offerings, making them a deserving nominee for the New Venture of the Year Award.

Non-Profit of The Year: DeForest Area Historical Society

DAHS celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2025 by enhancing exhibits, renovating historic buildings, increasing public access, and—despite being entirely volunteer-run—expanding its community engagement through events like the 4th of July and WindsorFest and partnerships with DASD, the DeForest Area Library, and others.

Introducing the New I-39/90/94 Corridor Project Website

We are excited to announce the launch of the new I-39/90/94 Corridor Project website, your go-to source for the most up-to-date information on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's (WisDOT) improvement effort of the 67-mile interstate corridor between Madison and Wisconsin Dells.

The new website is designed to keep travelers, businesses and community members informed and connected throughout every phase of the project. Visitors can find:

  • The latest project updates
  • Overviews of corridor improvements, including safety, mobility and operational enhancements
  • Dedicated resources for businesses, including guides, checklists and examples to help manage your business as the I-39/90/94 Corridor Project is constructed
  • Project maps, contact information and comment forms for questions or feedback

Whether you commute the corridor, operate a business nearby, or simply want to stay informed, the website offers an easy and convenient way to follow the project from start to finish.

Does your organization want to have an Electric Vehicle Charging Station? Dane County is partnering with local businesses to cover many of the costs to have one installed!

Here's the link!

Partnering with Us to Host Affordable EV Charging

The aim of Charge Up Dane County is to fill gaps in EV charging infrastructure so that everyone can access affordable EV charging.

Key to this effort is identifying sites where we can install the grant-funded EV charging infrastructure. This page details our efforts to identify and vet potential sites for EV charging stations.

We identify site hosts via a simple Request for Proposals (RFP) process. We expect to do a third and final RFP in March 2026.
