UIL Updates
As previously communicated, all UIL activities are suspended until March 30 th . Given information related to school closures available at this time, that timeframe has been extended. UIL games and contests will resume no earlier than Monday, May 4th. Prior to that date, to allow students and schools to re-enter competition, UIL will provide a reasonable acclimatization period for rehearsals and practices to occur, consistent with the advice of local, state and federal officials.

Technology
Because of the large volume of requests we have received for at-home devices, the DeSoto ISD Technology Department will be unable to begin distribution of devices this week. Technology is diligently working to ensure that we have devices for all students who need them. The department is currently preparing and disinfecting those devices. Device distribution to DeSoto ISD families will begin once this process has been completed.

Families who have requested at-home tech will receive an email next week with details about when and where you will be able to pick up a device district students. Until then, please continue referring to the DeSoto ISD Student Learning Plan which includes student educational activities that do not require use of a device to complete.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this process.

DeSoto ISD Essential Item(s) Request & Additional Needs Notification Form

Due to our extended closure, we understand that there may be essential items that students may need to retrieve from campuses. Therefore, we have created a form for parents/students to submit a request to retrieve such items. In addition, we understand that some families may experience a need due to the extended closure of not only schools, but other resources. We will utilize this same form to collect information so that we may try to connect families to an outreach service.

Please click   HERE   to complete the form.
