THE SOUND OF CHRISTMAS

TRAILER - Click Here
I have known Writer, Director Booker T. Mattison for 20 years. Chatted with him this morning and told him how happy I was that he stayed on the grind with his passion. I told him I would happily tell as many as I can about his first feature film appearing on BET + This Thanksgiving. Please check out THE SOUND OF CHRISTMAS starring Grammy Winning Singer/Songwriter Ne-Yo.

I met the film's star Ne-Yo 15 years ago in Los Angeles. He has certainly built an incredible career in the entertainment industry. Music, film and TV. Booker's vision and Ne-Yo's talent equals a great film to enjoy with your family.
To make it as a filmmaker is TOUGH. I asked Booker to write a note to my tennis players about the grind and work ethic to make it to the top. DREAM BIG.

"The saying goes, 'Persistence overcomes resistance'" This is true in the film industry. We all see the instant success and outsized glamour. However, film is blue collar work until you get to the red carpet. This is my first feature length film and I've been making films for over 20 years. But it was persistence - fueled by passion - that demanded that I stick to it, despite rejection, failure, and loss. And this is the lesson you should apply to your preparation and your game. Stick to it! We can't all be Serena Williams (or Steven Spielberg) but there's no excuse for not working as hard or being as committed to your craft as they are."
