KEF General Scholarship applications are due Tuesday, March 15 by 11:59PM AKST! We have one more live scholarship application walk through scheduled on Friday, March 11 from 1-2pm AKST.

Essay Have You Stumped?
Your essay should be a minimum of 500 words (about a paragraph per prompt) but not more than two pages long. KEF provides prompts. In your essay, describe EACH of the following:
 
  1. Your personal and family history (how you are connected to Kodiak Island?)
  2. Life and educational goals
  3. Community and/or family involvement
  4. Volunteer activities/awards
  5. If you are a returning student (if you received a KEF Scholarship last year), answer 1-4 and
  • Share what you've learned during the past school year. For example, what were your challenges or setbacks and how did you overcome them? What were your triumphs or accomplishments?
