Fulfill your ABFM MOC requirements and Register Now for the stand-alone FAFP Virtual ABFM KSA Study Group: Pain Medicine that will be presented via Zoom on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6:30pm-9:00pm EST. The registration deadline is Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.

 

You will earn 10 certification points and 8 enduring (not live) CME credits after successful completion of each KSA; ABFM will award these certification points and enduring CME credits.

Friendly Reminder: CLIA Certificates - New Electronic Fee Coupons

CMS is improving the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) program by switching to electronic fee coupons and CLIA certificates. To continue getting these, eligible laboratories and providers that perform laboratory testing must switch to electronic email notifications by March 1, 2026 - the same date paper versions will be discontinued.  There are 3 ways your members can update their information:


  1. Email their state agency (PDF)
  2. Contact their Accreditation Organization if they run an accredited laboratory
  3. Fill out the CLIA Application for Certification (PDF) (form CMS-116), and check the box next to “Receive notifications including electronic certificates via email” in section I

The Licensure Clock is Ticking!

Now that the ball has dropped and 2026 is here, the clock is ticking toward the deadline for physician licensure renewals. Let the FAFP help by ensuring your mandatory CME requirements are met!


Maintaining your Florida medical license is essential to your daily practice. So, if your state medical license is set to expire on January 31, 2026 (for MDs), or March 31, 2026 (for DOs), don’t miss the opportunity to obtain your state mandatory CME requirements, COMPLIMENTARY for active FAFP members, on the FAFP Website.
