Deadline for EANS Reimbursement Extended
Dear NYS Principals and Administrators,

The deadline for EANS reimbursement has been extended to March 25. If you received an EANS I allocation and still have funds remaining, you may now submit for additional reimbursement.

Please read this letter carefully and follow the instructions to ensure timely and complete processing of your reimbursements

The application can be downloaded HERE and must be submitted by March 25.

Please note:

  • The majority of schools have received their reimbursements. There are still a number outstanding - particularly larger ones.

  • The list of "Eligible Expenses for EANS I Reimbursement" is limited to those which are absolutely certain to be eligible. There were several other categories of reimbursements previously identified as eligible and we have confirmed that they are, in fact, eligible. These include:

  • Reasonable transportation expenses to ensure social distancing - to and from school ONLY.

  • Mini-split HVAC units - the unit only, not installation costs.

  • If you have questions about this process, please contact EANS@nysed.gov.

  • When NYSED reaches out to you for clarification, please respond promptly, as a lack of response can hold up the entire application.
As always, feel free to reach out to yeshivaservices@agudah.org with any questions.
