The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened recovery centers in Oklahoma.

Business Recovery Centers (BRC) are run by SBA and are dedicated to businesses.

Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) are facilities where SBA is co-located with FEMA and serves the needs of all types of disaster victims.

Businesses can go to either a DRC or a BRC. Although there are fewer BRCs, they tend to be far less busy, and the staff there are well versed in business issues. At the moment, there are only three centers open but more will be coming online very soon:

State Chamber Featured in Health Plan Testimonials

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce released testimonials on successful Association Health Plans that included the State Chamber of Oklahoma.

Earlier this year, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia struck down key provisions of the U.S. Department of Labor’s final rule that allows small businesses to pool together to access affordable, high-quality health care coverage through Association Health Plans (AHPs). Existing AHPs may continue to cover people who were enrolled before the District Court’s decision, but the establishment of new plans and/or the enrollment of new individuals under an existing plan are not permitted unless and until the court of appeals overturns the district court's ruling.

The U.S. Department of Labor has since filed a notice of appeal and the D.C. Circuit granted the Trump Administration's request for an expedited schedule.
