FIRST SESSION WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25.

Leadership Fairbanks, facilitated by the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, empowers emerging and established leaders through exposure to challenging ideas, community insights, lively discussions, and personal reflection. This inspiring program fosters lifelong relationships and equips participants with essential leadership skills for their organizations and community.

Each year, about 27 leaders are selected for nine monthly sessions. Participants must attend at least eight sessions and actively contribute by asking questions and sharing their unique perspectives.

The Family Friendly Workplace Awards, initiated by the Fairbanks North Star Borough’s former Early Childhood Development Commission, celebrate employers who support their employees and their families. These workplaces understand the value of parents spending time with their children, adult children caring for elderly parents, and even allowing time off for pet care.
