Deaf Action Center Seniors Program
February Edition
DAC Senior Citizens Program is committed to providing deaf and hard of hearing senior citizens information and resources to enrich their lives. The Program is supported in part by the Deaf Action Center; The Dallas Area Agency on Aging; and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m Mondays to Fridays and is  free  for ages 60+. 59 or younger may purchase a meal for $6.

Baby Zane!
Zane Hughes, firstborn of Executive Director Heather Hughes and husband Adam Hughes was born on January 18th, 2016 at 8 lbs, 3 oz, 19 inches! Congratulations! 
News
  • Executive Director Heather Hughes and husband Adam Hughes gave birth to a baby boy. Congratulations!
  • Ray Dean moved to the rehab center for therapy to heal his leg.
  • James Wheeler was recently in the hospital, he got better quickly.
  • JD Shirley resigned as Site Council President. Luther Davis will be the new Site Council President.
  • We visited Lloyd Payne at the physical rehab center.
  • Clarence Mowry finished moving to a new apartment in Dallas. He waited a long time to move, now he needs to set up a new internet service.
