POLARIS POSTS PROFITS



Although retail sales were down 8% compared to 2021, Polaris still posted a profit in Q3. Sales were $2,341 million, up 32% over last year, driven by higher volume, as well strong performances in the motorcycle and the marine markets. Gross profit margin increased 26 basis points to 23.9. Adjusted gross profit margin of 23.9% increased 15 basis points driven by higher pricing.

ZERO TEAMS UP WITH ROLLICK

Claiming a better buying experience as the result, Rollick and Zero Motorcycles have rolled out Aimbase, Rollick’s industry-centric lead management platform. Zero is also said to be adding RollickDR, the digital retailing solution in the near future. The platform will provide dealers with a more tailored experience when handling leads across systems and primarily in their preferred CRM provider.

BIG NEWS FROM INTERMOT




Bihr, one of the biggest distribution groups in Europe, used the recent Intermot show in Köln to confirm that Arrowhead Engineered Products (Arrowhead) had completed its acquisition (Dealernews had outlined the deal back in July, but there were plenty of moving pieces required to finalize matters)... Just how big a deal is this? Headquartered in Kontich, Belgium, Bihr is in 20 countries and wholesales 350 brands and 200,000+ SKUs to a network of more than 15,000 retail dealers.
