Hello Guys and Gals,
I hope you are all doing well today! Here is an update of what is happening in the Beta World:
2023 Units in Stock:
I am excited to say that our production has been keeping up with the demand for most models and we have a decent amount of stock for most models. Have a look at your BDS and order what is needed. All of the units in green are in stock. We also are adding the 125 RR, 125 RR Race Edition, and all 4 stroke Race Edition models to BYOB. Sales remain very strong! Make sure you are not giving the bikes away as we will run out of many models over the next 90-120 days.
We feel that the orange guys have brought in far too many bikes as their dealer's inventories are very high and they are offering rebates early. We cannot control this, all we can do is focus on the demand of our bikes and ask that we hold the prices so that we do not devalue our product and image.
Warranty Registrations:
As always, this is your friendly reminder to take the time to compare what models you have in stock vs what it shows in your BDS warranty portal and register any units that have been sold. This is our only way of knowing how the market is doing.
Beta Dealer Display:
After listening to everyone at our dealer meeting, we have put together three different Beta display areas for your dealership. Every Beta Enduro dealer is required to purchase one of these display packages. Your sales manager will schedule an appointment to visit your dealership and ask that one of your staff help them do the set up. It will only take 2-3 hours. (see sample photo below)
As part of the kit, there is an accessory package as well. There are dating terms on both items to make it easier to pay off as well as a cash discount. Watch for the details in the next few days. Dealers who already have purchased the latest display items will only be required to purchase the additional items. This is a big step in properly branding Beta in your dealership while at the same time, adding profit to your bottom line.
Our tests in the market surprised us all as we saw more than 50% increases in sales of bikes and accessories from the test dealerships that we built out.
Try Trials Program:
We feel that the trials market is still untapped. With today's hard enduro, trials has become a way for riders to cross train. The sport of trials itself has so many benefits as well as it is quiet, challenging, incredibly fun, and also a bit safer that other motorsports.
Over the next two years, you will see Beta USA promoting the sport through a series of "try Trials" events. These events will allow off road and moto riders to spend a day on a Beta Evo. Our trials team manager and 10 time trial champion Ray Peters will provide instruction to allow riders to get the proper feeling of the bike in the beginning. We feel that by putting these riders on a Beta, many will become hooked in the sport. We encourage all dealers to stock at least one model for your floor as well. We will have ads posted in many moto publications with event dates. We will make a large effort so watch for the schedule to be posted and get involved in this amazing sport.
Sincerely,
Tim-
