Anger, Harmful and/or Beneficial

One of the most challenging and complex emotions we experience is anger. Uncontrolled anger is harmful to all in its sphere. Controlled anger can lead to beneficial change.

Anger and control of anger begins in the family. Let us ask ourselves where we are on the anger spectrum. Do we need to get better at managing our reactions to our own or others' "explosions"? Do we need to continue monitoring and improving our "anger skills"?

Success can be measured by our own well-being and our family's well-being. Is it possible to transfer successful behavior to our interactions with each other in the political realm. Can our leaders use these techniques to achieve harmony among nations? Maybe, but responsibility begins with "me." I can control me. Scroll down for a helpful article.

Have a very pleasant weekend, Parmalee

P.S. Rain is expected this weekend. Do you have some good games to play? How about Mexican Train?

Mexican Train Rules and Beginner’s Guide

These rules follow the most common gameplay. Practice or play against a computer with our iOS, Android, or online Mexican Train Dominoes games. Ages 8+

You will need

  • A double-12 domino set
  • A marker for each player plus the Mexican Train, such as a quarter.

Objective and Basics

The objective of Mexican Train Dominoes is to be the first player to get rid of all their dominoes by creating trains that connect to the central “hub” or engine.

The game is played with a standard set of Double Twelve dominoes, and each player has their own train, as well as the option to play on the Mexican Train, which is a shared train that belongs to all players.

You’ll need a little luck and strategy, as players have to think ahead to create the best possible train while also blocking their opponents.

Get started

Turn all of your dominoes face down and shuffle them on the table. Each player draws 1 tile. Whoever has the highest pip-count (dots) goes first. Return the tiles face down and shuffle.
