Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Practices
Climate Neutral Now has released its latest set of practical recommendations on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to move towards the goal of climate neutrality. The recommendations focus on everything from air quality, water, waste, energy, supply chain, and organisational management.

To further encourage sustainable practices as outlined in the UN’s Climate Action Sustainable Development Goal 13, it is also recommended to develop internal procedures, marketing, and communication efforts.

Take the Global Climate Action Survey!
UN World Tourism Organization
UNWTO, in collaboration with UNFCCC, has launched the Global Survey of Climate Action in Tourism with support from Adventure Travel Trade Association, San Francisco State University and Tourism Declares.

The survey seeks to support the efforts of the tourism sector to reduce emissions and adapt to a changing climate. It is aimed at tourism destinations (governments and organisations), businesses (accommodation, tour operators, transport) and associations.

We invite you to participate in the survey and share it with your networks. The deadline to reply is 31 July 2021.

The Green Branch
Deforestation and unsustainable farming – caused by human activities and climate change – is the main reason for land degradation and decreased productivity. Deforestation is a global problem and can only be tackled by coordinated, collaborative reforestation.

The Green Branch plants native forests back, with 30 different tree species, four of which are on the IUCN Red List, and one is critically endangered. They work with local farmers and provide them the tools and knowledge to restore their land. In addition, the locals earn 50 per cent of the profits.
