Stockholm+50 Conference, 2-3 June
On 2 and 3 June 2022, a crucial international environmental meeting will be held in Stockholm, Sweden. Anchored in the Decade of Action, under the theme “Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity,” this high-level meeting will follow months of consultations and discussions with individuals, communities, organizations and governments around the world.

This event aims to act as a springboard to accelerate the implementation of the UN Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals, including the 2030 Agenda, Paris Agreement on climate change, the post-2020 global Biodiversity Framework, and encourage the adoption of green post-COVID-19 recovery plans.

The Climate Neutral Now Team will be there to contribute to discussions and our Manager Niclas Svenningsen will give a speech about the carbon markets: "Benefits and Expectations Under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement".

Bonn Climate Change Conference, 6-16 June
The 56th session of the subsidiary bodies will take place from 6 to 16 June 2022, at the World Convention Center Bonn, Germany.

The work of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) is at the core of all issues related to the implementation of the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement. Its agenda is shaped around transparency, mitigation, adaptation, finance, technology and capacity-building.

The focus of SBI is on finding the best way for Parties to provide relevant guidance on stronger action on the ground while making the best use of the increasing role of the specialized bodies and institutions that have been created under the UNFCCC in the past 10 years to deal with the relevant issues.

The Climate Neutral Now Team will participate in the event Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in the Context of Voluntary Climate Protection Projects with our partners of the Foundation Alliance for Development and Climate of Germany. ENZA: Initiative for the Film and TV Industry
The Entertainment Industry Net Zero Accord (ENZA) is a collaborative initiative bringing together global stakeholders in film and television to develop industry guidelines and an agreement to implement climate solutions.

Supported by the UN Climate Change secretariat and UNESCO, the goals of this initiative are to:
  • Define a decarbonization roadmap for the film and TV industry, in line with the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals;
  • Catalyze climate action through the narrative power of the film and TV industry;
  • Consolidate and promote the exchange of existing tools, resources, and knowledge on climate action.

The initiative will be launched during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 27) to take place in November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, where the Accord will be opened for stakeholder signing.
