Global Climate Action Fund Conference In Republic of Korea
The first Conference of the Global Climate Action Fund (GCAF) will be held from 22 to 26 August, 2022 at the Shilla Hotel, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The GCAF was established to identify innovative climate action technologies and ideas globally. The cluster of solutions will include technology, policy, financial instruments, business models, and leadership solutions. 
 
In cooperation with the UN Climate Change Global Innovation Hub and with the participation of the Climate Neutral Now Team, GCAF aims to bring innovative technologies and ideas to the real world to fight the global climate crisis.

Climate Change Forum in Hong Kong
The Climate Change Forum, organized by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, will be held on 27 October 2022 in a hybrid format. About 250 listed companies and business community representatives are expected to attend the Forum. 
 
The agenda will:
  • Consider social and economic impacts of climate change
  • Describe the costs of not coping with climate change, as well as the benefits to succeed
  • Present the outcomes of COP 26
  • Introduce the latest recommendations and initiatives to achieve climate neutrality and address the relating challenges
  • Discuss options to secure financial resources, and the role that banks and financial institutions can play

The Climate Neutral Now team will support the event, as part of its collaboration with the Chamber. To participate, please contact us.
Care To Share Your Plan?
In order to provide help to other participants in Climate Neutral Now and other stakeholders looking to develop their greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategies, we are looking for participants who would agree to share their strategies and plans with us.

If your organization or company has developed a detailed reduction plan including reduction targets, actions, indicators, etc., we would greatly appreciate your help. Of course, this is absolutely voluntary.
 
We aim to use this material anonymously to produce guidance for the development of such reduction plans. This guidance will be published later this year, once standards such as ISO 14068 Carbon Neutrality as well as the revised criteria for Race to Zero are published.
