Unlocking Cultural Institutions' Potential
for Change
Curating Tomorrow was set up in 2019, to help cultural institutions to contribute to sustainable development agendas, including climate action, the SDGs, biodiversity conservation, human rights, and Disaster Risk Reduction. Cultural institutions can be amazing amplifiers and capacity builders as they reach very large numbers of people each year, but to empower others they need to be empowered themselves.

Among other activities, Curating Tomorrow produces a series of free available guides to help people get started with sustainable development. The most recent of these explores the new Glasgow Work Programme on Action for Climate Empowerment.

Curating Tomorrow has participated in Climate Neutral Now since 2019, and also takes part in the UN Global Compact.
Art For Climate Action
Beyond the Edge is a transversal laboratory to explore and drive ecological consciousness through the arts. It was born from The Edge, a project by the Spanish multidisciplinary artist Álvaro Laiz, and UreCulture’s curated framework for artistic projects. It aims to align with sustainability best practices and catalyze the power of art to drive change towards a better future.

This includes measuring, acknowledging, and minimizing the carbon and circular footprint.

Beyond the Edge is supported by the National Geographic Society, Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and Museo Universidad de Navarra. UreCulture SL (on behalf of The Edge by Alvaro Laiz) joined CNNow in 2022 - Welcome on board!
Carpool Your Journey To Climate Neutrality
onTime Carpool is a new mobile ridesharing service launched by Mobileware with the support of NYSERDA in early March 2022. Integrated with Mobileware’s existing public transportation app, onTime Carpool provides a seamless experience for users to manage their daily commute to work.

In an effort to combat climate change, onTime Carpool’s focus is to reduce the 80% of single-occupancy vehicles (SOV) on the road and to increase public transit ridership.
Reducing SOVs on the road will not only reduce carbon emissions, but will also reduce traffic congestion, free up crowded parking spaces, and lower the escalating cost of transportation for commuters.

A warm welcome to Mobileware, who has joined Climate Neutral Now in January 2022!
