This Week at the Club!

We continue all this week with North American Pair (NAP) games, earning Red & Black (50/50) mps. This means the Thursday limited game (if we have one) will be 0-750.

We wrap up the week with the Mentor Game (so no Chip game or free lesson from Rosemary), followed by a Happy Hour for all players.

Please sign up for the Eight is Enough game on 8/30, and get ready for the Labor Day Tournament the following week, hopefully we will have a big turnout!

Lastly, our new kitchen crew will begin to serve brunch before Sunday's games as of September (yum!)

See you at the tables!

Dear Members,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of May Sakr as our new club manager. On behalf of the entire membership, we extend our warmest congratulations to her on this well deserved achievement.

May, a world renowned Bridge Champion, will oversee the daily operations of our Club, ensuring that our facilities, programs and services continue to reflect the high standards our members expect and value. We are confident that she will bring fresh energy, thoughtful leadership, and innovative ideas to the Fort Lauderdale Bridge Club.

Once again, congratulations May. We look forward to the future of our Club under your guidance into the many positive developments ahead.

Thank You for Making RSVPs Easier

(and a Friendly Nudge to the Rest of Us)

Over the past few weeks, more and more of you have started using our RSVP reservations system to confirm your game attendance — and it’s made a real difference. If you have been RSVP-ing, thank you, it genuinely helps!

For those who haven’t yet given it a try, now is a great time to start. The system takes less than a minute to use. And if you’re having trouble enrolling with or downloading RSVP to your phone, volunteers & directors are more than happy to help (if you need assistance, kindly arrive at the club early to avoid a delay.)

Every RSVP you enter, whether it’s a "Yes, No, or Maybe" helps us plan better games for everyone. And it means a smoother experience all around.

So to all members already using it, THANK YOU! And to everyone who hasn’t yet joined, we would love to see you participate in the next game - it’s a small step that makes a big difference.
