Living Philosophy Course
DISCOVER. AWAKEN. TRANSFORM.
20-week course | 2 hours a week
In what direction is our world moving? What is our role in it? Perhaps the timeless wisdom of ancient civilizations can offer direction, as we encounter questions about the meaning of life. Discover universal principles from the teachings of Plato, the life of Buddha or the tenets of Confucianism, amongst others, to help us navigate through present challenges and uncertainties. Awaken the philosopher-volunteer within you, by daring to live with more authenticity and purpose in our times today. Perhaps it is in realizing our human potential, that we can we build a better future based on Goodness, Truth, Beauty and Justice.

Course Structure

The course comprises 16 online classes and 4 Volunteering Meetings in order to emphasize the practical application of the teachings across the following 3 Areas:

Know Yourself: How can we better understand ourselves as human beings? Discover practical tools to live life with more freedom, happiness and meaning.

The Individual and Society: What is the role of society and how we can find our place within it? Explore how ethical leadership and education can be harnessed to awaken individuals to their true potential and create a just society.
