St. Peter’s United Methodist Church gives
a new home to our Emergency Shelter!
August 20 - October 15
We are beyond ecstatic to share that St. Peter's United Methodist Church has offered to host our emergency shelter from August 20 to October 15. Words cannot express our gratitude to the congregation for their compassion and support for women experiencing homelessness. The women will have a place to have a hot meal and sleep safe at night.
Thank you for your generous heart!
St. Peter's United Methodist Church has responded to the needs of the community for many years. They recognize the great need in the community for people facing homelessness. As one of The Sophia Way's original shelter partners, they continue to support the men's and family emergency shelter as well.

In their words:
St. Peter's United Methodist Church has hosted The Sophia Way emergency shelter on many occasions in the winter and in summer months. We have the space and we feel a responsibility to help when we are able.
Our Emergency Shelter will open at St Peter's United Methodist Church
on the night of August 20.
