As Executive Director of Crossroads Pregnancy Care, one of my goals is to stay informed of currents events, especially those related to pro-life and pro-abortion issues.
You may or not be aware that the current administration has removed the Hyde Amendment from their latest relief package. For decades, the Hyde Amendment has prohibited taxpayers’ money from paying for abortions. Now millions of dollars from this relief bill will go to funding abortions. That makes me angry! It also makes me feel like I need to do something!
So, what can we do as Disciples of Christ who are passionate about the sanctity of life, and think that this funding is unfair and just wrong? Well for one thing, we can take some of our government given funds and use them to protect as many unborn lives as possible. I am asking you, if you receive some of that government money, and if you can afford to do so, or you are not receiving this funding and you can afford to do so, please consider donating to Crossroads Pregnancy Care. If you do, I promise you we will use your donation for marketing strategies and campaigns designed to reach as many abortion-minded women as we can in hopes of helping them choose life for their babies.
If you want to donate online, please go directly to our donation page at https://www.crossroadspregnancy.care/donate. When you select the drop down menu click on “Client Marketing” to designate the funds to help us reach those who are abortion-vulnerable.
It is my goal to stay peaceful and focused as I process what is going on in our culture and the legislation coming out of Washington D.C. However, at what point, as followers of Christ, do we say enough is enough? If our government wants to spend trillions of dollars of taxpayers’ money, let us consider using some of those funds, if possible, for a cause that promotes life and is pleasing to our heavenly Father! Are you with us??
Thanks in advance for considering my request. My God bless you and your family richly for your continued support of Crossroads Pregnancy Care.
Serving our Lord together,
