Hello everyone, I have been listening to Kevin as long as he has been on SiriusXm radio, I think that may be about 14 years now. When he first started to talk about health and keto, I would turn the program off, telling myself what does he know about health, I am listening for truck-related information.
Being a 20 plus year veteran driver, and watching my weight continue to go up. At age 54 I was 5 ft 8 in and 294lbs, on high blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds and CPAP machine. I thought to myself that if I continued down this path how would I make it to retirement as a truck driver.
A couple of years went by and Kevin was still talking about health and keto, knowing over the years that he does do a lot of research and even hands-on training related to trucking, I thought he has got to be putting out great information pertaining to health as I know that he would not put this information out there without first doing extensive research himself. So on 6/5/18 I started to listen more closely, and committed to reading one book per week related to health and keto for year.
I will conclude with: I am now 19 months into this journey and keto/carnivore is now a way of life for me. I immerse myself in education daily, currently I have lost 82 lbs and still going, I have great cognitive function and brain clarity, more energy at 56 years young than I had at 26, and very happy to say that I no longer am on any medication or CPAP, and my last DOT physical I received 2 year card.
