LOCAL CRUSADES RESUME

In June’s COLD WATER, we told you about the resumption of classes for our Rhema Bible Training Center in Ozamiz City. Along with the classes now underway, our students and staff have resumed local crusade outreach in conjunction with their class work. Two crusade outreaches have been scheduled for July. We’re excited to get back into the field and share the gospel with the lost. Pictures and reports will follow in the August COLD WATER.

This crusade was conducted a few years ago in the town of Guiuan, which was totally destroyed in 2013 by Hurricane Yolanda.

We lead by example. The students and staff see Ethel and I holding these crusades, and whether we’re there in person or not, we expect them to carry the crusade baton for Jesus, exactly as we have taught them. Your support pays for these crusades.

At the present time, our church network numbers between 275 and 300 churches nationwide. They are the church branch of the MKMI ministry. They are called ALL THE WORLD OUTREACH CHURCHES, because the main focus in all of our churches will always be soul-winning, in obedience to the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-18. We believe every church we plant and oversee MUST prioritize the saving of lost souls, to be a spiritual light in the cities, towns or villages where they are raised up by the Holy Spirit.  Every three years, we’ve conducted national youth conferences in our headquarters compound in Ozamiz City. Since Ethel and I have not yet returned in person to the Philippines because of on-going fear related to the Covid-19 plandemic, we decided to have regional youth conferences this summer, rather than one big meeting in Ozamiz. This also helps many attend the meetings that would not otherwise be able to travel to Ozamiz from far-away places.

This month we will highlight our youth camp in the Navas Region of Mindanao, conducted in our ATWOC church in Pagadian City. Youth attended from all over this part of the country, with anointed ministry and spiritual activities being conducted from July 5-8. Your support of MKMI enables our organization to help our churches get started, grow and conduct local conferences like this to reach the youth of the Philippines.

Here is our advertising banner for the ATWOC Navas Region Youth Camp. Camps like this are being conducted all over the central and southern portions of the Philippines this summer.

Meet Pastor Dennis Navas, our ATWOC Regional Director for this part of the island of Mindanao. Pastor Navas is also a full-time school teacher. We are very proud of the work he is doing in his assigned region for us, and for the Lord. When you support MKMI, you help us help pastors like him. We support his work monthly.

Here is Pastor Navas, leading the youth in an altar call to receive Jesus as Savior, exhorting them to serve the Lord 100% for the rest of their lives. Once again, your support of MKMI enables all of us to do these things in obedience to the Great Commission of

Mark 16:15-18.

Only God knows what great things He has planned for each one of these young people. We’re honored and privileged to be an instrument for the Lord in helping shape their future.

Here is Pastor Navas, exhorting and preaching to our youth during one of our teaching sessions. Everything we do in these camps is centered around the importance of knowing what God says about them in His Word.

Here is Pastor Jerry Carbajosa, who pastors this church where our camp was conducted, sharing in one of his teaching sessions. He serves as our National Director of ATWOC churches. ATWOC stands for All The World Outreach Church.

These young people are coming from our churches scattered throughout the mountains and rice fields of northwestern Mindanao. Economically, this is one of the poorest parts of the country. In a secular sense, these kids have little chance of success in life. We thank God He has placed us here, to bring hope to these youth, for this life and more importantly, for eternity.

You can see how many are still wearing masks. Pray with us that God will move upon the government, to remove all of the mandates, lockdowns and quarantines still in place in the Philippines.

The cost of educating our students falls mainly upon the MKMI ministry. The students are charged tuition, but the actual budget for housing, feeding and educating them is much more than their tuition can cover. That’s where sponsorship becomes so vital. If you would like to sponsor one or more of these 13 students for 2 years of study, it only amounts to $75 monthly. This covers everything we need to provide for them. And remember, your gifts are always tax-deductible.

Here is our current batch of students, holding bags of blessing from supporters who sponsor the work of training these students through the Word of God.

You can be a student sponsor too! Contact Rev. Ethel in our Tucson office for details about how you can help these students finish their training and upon graduation, go into all the world to win souls and build churches.

You can also click the link below and select "Sponsor a Student" from the drop down menu. If you'd like to sponsor a student at the $75/month you can opt to make it a monthly donation. You can also make a one-time donation toward student sponsorship if you'd like. Our students thank you for it!

SPONSOR A STUDENT

Rhema Bible Training Center is aggressively seeking Christians who are called to do something significant for Jesus with their lives in these last days. This is the Bible school that trained and prepared me before I was sent to the Philippines in 1980. What I learned provided me with the knowledge and foundation for success in ministry. The good news is that our RBTC school in Ozamiz City is available to do the same teaching and training for Filipinos. This school will elevate your abilities to serve Jesus with excellence. This school prepares you for success as an Ambassador of Christ. Contact us for all the details, and how you can enroll in our next trimester of teaching that begins this coming September 2022. Contact info: Rev. Cheryl Carbajosa, School Director @ 09382071739, or Rev. Emmie Cabanag, School Administrator @ 09127609333.

We appreciate your faithful prayers of agreement for these priority issues we’re dealing with now in the Philippines:

In the Philippines:

Powerful Youth Outreaches. Through the summer of 2022, we’ll be conducting regional youth camps throughout our ATWOC church network. Agree with us for many salvations and dedications from those in attendance. Also agree that every region will have the budget met to conduct each youth camp with no financial pressures.

Ministry Income. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness

(Psalms 37:3). As our COLD-WATER newsletters indicate, we’re conducting our crusade outreaches in select villages and isolated locations. Your support enables us to send our teams wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the on-going work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially and expect that to be the case as we move through the summer of 2022. We believe we’ll get back to the Philippines as soon as possible, to resume effective and full-scale ministry operations. But wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on, as we all stand in faith for complete victory over this global plandemic attack of the enemy.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

The greatest gift God has given to us is free will. We can choose life, death, blessing, cursing, good or bad. It’s not up to God, and it’s not up to the devil. The Lord wants to bless us in this life and spend eternity with Him in heaven. The devil wants to torment us in this life and drag us to hell for all eternity when we die. But who does what is all up to us! God desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4), but He won’t violate our power of choice. He’ll let people reject Him if that’s what they want. Jesus stands at our front door and knocks, but He waits until we open the door and let Him in (Revelation 3:20). Choose Jesus. Make Him Lord of your life. Choose to live right, in every way. Choose to be a radical soul-winner for the Lord. Give God the opportunity to bring blessings, protection, provision and fulfillment into your life. Its your choice!

Mandate of Must.jpg

Now more than ever, Christians need to know what they must do, say, and tell others. This book identifies eight biblical mandates we must address and fulfill in these last days. These mandates are not God’s suggestions or requests. They are His commands. Therefore, they must be made top priority each day. By doing so, we allow God to be great in our lives, providing us with all the blessings to be prosperous, protected, and successful.

If you want to make an eternal impact on the world around you for Jesus, you need to read the contents of this powerful new book. Order your copy of THE MANDATE OF MUST today. Go online at www.mkmi.org to order, or call our Tucson office to place your order directly.
