We’ve been waiting all year for these two summer tours, and now they’re upon us! We’re filled with excitement and anticipation for what the Lord will use us to do in the July and August Mission Tours. 

July’s Tour is already set. Time has run out to sign up for that one, but there’s still time to join our August Tour! Don’t wait. Contact Pastor Ethel in our Tucson office and get signed up! That number is 520.743.8336. 

If finances are needed, ask for assistance from other brethren who would be happy to help. Many people have indicated their intent to come and join us, and we’d love to see you included!

IMPORTANT NOTICE! We also want to let people know that the “deadlines” we’ve given for submitting payments no longer applies. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have enough funds raised by the time a stated deadline comes and goes, as listed in the Info Packet. We will be happy to extend to you all the grace necessary to see you participate in the August tour!  YOU STILL HAVE TIME!

From May 14-17, we conducted our national youth leadership conference, which we have named IGNITION.  In this newsletter, I will highlight photos from day 2 – May 15.

The second night was filled with anointed praise and powerful preaching.

Our messages were all about living this life in preparation for eternity.    

We had close to 350 pastors, youth leaders, youth delegates and conference support teams in attendance.

Many of our praise and worship songs were in Cebuano, not English.

Our people love to worship and praise the Lord!

We wanted to have many of our musicians and singers involved, so from our national regions we scheduled different bands to lead us in praise and worship each service.

Youth leaders and youth delegates came from all over the country to attend.  

In the afternoons small groups gathered to fellowship and review things that they had heard in our teaching sessions. 

Several afternoon workshops dealt with social media and how to utilize it to effectively reach the youth of the Philippines. 

We encouraged attendees to pray about enrolling in our Rhema Bible Training College.  We got four new students who are now studying with us.

Thanks to all of you who are giving financial support that helps us win souls, teach the believers, and train the ministers and leaders.  In this case, teaching and training our youth leaders, soon to become our overall leaders should Jesus tarry His return.  Next month I’ll include more photos from day 3.  

And remember, your financial support means you get a tax deduction here in this life, and in the next life, and you get the same rewards we get someday soon in heaven. Once again, we say: THANK YOU!

Dates and times are always subject to change, per the leading of the Lord. 

And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”  So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.  Acts 16:30-31.

Verse 30 is the question every human being should be asking, and verse 31 is the answer that must be given.  Jesus is the only way to heaven (John 14:6).  There is no other way.  Period. Believe in Jesus – who He said He was, what He did for us as recorded in the Bible, and the procedure for receiving the free gift of salvation (Acts 4:12/Romans 10:9-10). 

Our responsibility on earth is incredibly simple as ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Tell people these great truths.  Don’t waste time arguing or disputing with unbelievers.  If people choose to reject God’s offer of salvation through Jesus, that’s their funeral, not yours.

No matter who we are or where we are, this question and this answer must always be the underlying reason we’re doing whatever it is we’re doing.  Don’t get entangled in the affairs of this life (2 Timothy 2:3-4), and lose sight of our primary purpose for being here.  Looking at life from the eternal perspective, nothing else matters – nothing!
