As you can see, reconstruction of our house inside the MKMI compound in the Philippines continues towards completion.  Thanks to all of you who are giving financial support to fund this project! Here are some of the latest pictures showing the progress to date.

Summer will be upon us sooner than we think. If you’ve ever gone on one or more of these Mission Tours, you know what a life-changing experience it is!  Now is the time to set your money aside and sign up. Don’t wait.

If finances are needed, ask for assistance from other brethren who would be happy to help. Many people have indicated their intent to come and join us this summer, but we can only accommodate 35 people on each of the tours.

Go to our website’s home page right now, and download the Tour Poster, and the Information Packet.  We hope to see you with us in the Philippines for summer outreach in Jesus’ name.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!  We also want to let people know that the “deadlines” we’ve given for submitting payments are very flexible.  Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have enough funds raised by the time a deadline comes and goes. We will be happy to extend to you all the grace necessary to see you participate in either the July or August tours!

Overall Financial Support:  Agree with us for a steady level of support that continues to increase. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness (Psalms 37:3).

As our COLD-WATER newsletters indicate, we’re busy about the Father’s business, reaching, teaching and training brothers, sisters, pastors, and leaders worldwide, especially in the Philippines.

Our goal is to reach at least ONE MILLION SOULS for Jesus in our ministry’s lifetime. Your partnership enables us to keep reaching out like this, one person at a time.

Click on the Philippines Expansion photos to get a better view. It will be a downloadable PDF.

When God told us to start the reconstruction project, this is what our house looked like last summer. Whether it be our overall financial needs day-by-day, or the funds necessary to build for the future in the Philippines, your prayers and financial support enables us to do all of this.

And remember, your financial support means you get a tax deduction here in this life, and in the next life, you get the same rewards we get someday soon in heaven.

Never forget this truth: THOSE WHO GO NEED THOSE WHO SOW. Once again, we say: THANK YOU!

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21

Throughout the Bible, God gives us certain statements that reveal foundational truths we cannot afford to ignore. This verse in Proverbs is one such statement. From the moment we learn how to speak, to the moment we die and leave earth, the sum total of our life is measured solely by what we have said.

Try to grasp the magnitude of this. Nothing is more important than life and death – nothing. It’s the reality of our very existence. We’re born and we die, and everything in between is determined by our words. God has given us the ability to speak our way into eternal life in heaven with the Lord, or into eternal death in the lake of fire forever (John 3:16/Revelation 20:11-15).

Psalms 45:1 tells us that our mouth is the pen of a ready writer.  Who is your tongue writing for?  God? The devil? Its one or the other, so it would behoove us to really think before we speak.  Actually, the whole book of Proverbs highlights the power of the tongue, as does the whole book of James, especially chapter three.  What does the Bible tell us about salvation?

The if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead as our one and only Savior, we will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus said that every idle word we speak will be judged one day when we stand before the Lord in heaven (Matthew 12:36).

So make sure your mouth is a ready writer for God’s glory, and for your well-being!  Its not up to God.  He doesn’t make us say whatever we need to say that enables Him in our lives.  He gives us the choice, but we choose.  Deuteronomy 32:19 says it best:  I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.  There it is. As plain as it can be.

Write for God, never for the devil.  The kind of “fruit” you enjoy or suffer with in this life is the direct result of what you’ve been saying.  So, as it says in the Word of God, be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath (James 1:19).
