As we enter into the “holiday season”, beginning with Thanksgiving through Christmas and ending with the New Year’s celebration, it’s important to remain focused on what the Lord wants for us as a missionary ministry.
I was saved at the age of 26. I know how thankful I was when people took the time to share the gospel with me at that time in my life. And I know from our crusade work in the Philippines, this same level of thankfulness radiates from those we go to with the word of God.
Here are more pictures demonstrating this fact to you, our faithful supporters. At this time of year, as we take time to offer up thanks to God for all we have, stay thankful for how you are helping us win souls in the small villages and towns where no one goes.
What an honor and privilege it is for us to represent Jesus in these last days!

Our crusade outreach always begins by canvassing villages to distribute these small pink flyers advertising the crusade time and place. | |
No matter where these isolated villages are, the people gather to hear the gospel. The “crowds” aren’t massive, but these are the isolated places nobody else goes to for Jesus. | |
If locations make it possible, we have our youth join the crusade with dancing and songs of praise. | |
We bring the joy of the Lord to people who have very little! | |
And this is the great payoff! Everywhere we go, this is the kind of response to our altar calls for salvation. All or almost all of those who attend receive Jesus as Savior. | |
We reach the little children, the old and elderly, and everyone in between. | |
We always get the names and addresses of those who attend, so our pastors and workers can follow up and disciple these precious people. | |
At the end of the service, we pass out free foodstuffs to help the people cope with their everyday poverty. | |

We want to remind everyone that back in early October, Ethel’s Facebook account and the Mike Keyes Ministries Facebook Account were cancelled. This wasn’t a surprise. In fact, we consider this a badge of honor. When we first started our live streams in March 2020, I knew it would only be a matter of time before we’d be de-platformed because the ungodly who presently control most portals of internet access are determined to block all dialogue that opposes their agenda for world domination. They can’t handle the truth of God’s Word, and we refuse to remain silent with regards to the rampant corruption, lying, and censorship on Social Media.
That brings us to where we are today. MKMI livestream broadcasts are now being conducted through my personal Facebook account, which is: https://www.facebook.com/DaddyM1ke/. My Daily Devotionals that were previously linked to the old MKMI Facebook account can now be located on our ministry’s website: www.mkmi.org. Just find the dropdown menu on the home page, click on it and the first menu item you see will be Daily Devotionals. Click on that and now you can see an entire month’s worth of devotionals at one time - in PDF format that you can download if you want. This is a definite improvement - viewers weren’t able to do that before.
Ethel has also opened up a new FB account, and many have already joined her there. We’re also now active on two X accounts (formerly Twitter). My “personal” @MikeKeyesSr1, and the “Mike Keyes Ministries International” @internatio1472, and Instagram (see link below). We are continuing to look at additional sites to hook up with, to make sure our content is made available to you. Here is how to contact us via a URL address:

Overall Ministry:
Financial Support. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness (Psalms 37:3).

Our Return Trips: Our next scheduled trip to the Philippines will be in January 2024. Agree with us for the money to pay for our travel, and for the work we intend to accomplish for the Lord during this next ministry trip. Expect more details about this in upcoming COLD WATER newsletters.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the ongoing work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially and expect that to be the case as we move through the year 2023. We believe we’ll get back overseas to our sons and daughters as soon as possible, but wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on.
Since 1980, I have gone wherever God leads me, and now our staff, students, graduates and churches reproduce that same effort in the Philippines. Your prayers and financial support enables us to do all of this. Thank you!

The cost of educating our students falls mainly upon the MKMI ministry. The students are charged tuition, but the actual budget for housing, feeding and educating them is much more than their tuition can cover. That’s why sponsorship has become so vital. If you would like to sponsor one or more of our current or future students, the total cost to underwrite one of them is $95 monthly, or $855 annually (for nine months of study – vacation time excluded). This covers everything we need to provide for them. And remember, your gifts are always tax-deductible.
We’re believing God will provide sponsors for 35 students. If this is something you feel led to help us with, be sure to designate “Sponsor a Student” from the drop down menu when clicking the link below for online contributions. We will provide sponsors with individual names and photos of all the students their support is enabling us to train.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Make sure you exhibit a thankful heart when you pray to the Lord. This is important because God sees your heart, which reveals your attitude. In fact, an unthankful heart is one of the major signs of the end times.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Romans 1:20-21. Make sure you’re not included in this descriptive list! An unthankful heart begins a progressive walk away from God. See to it that this doesn’t happen to you, because it has happened to many who came before you.
Never forget this truth: on your worst day, you’re still saved and on your way to an eternal abode with God Almighty, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all the righteous people from Adam until eternity.
Thank God you’re saved because you didn’t and couldn’t earn it. The salvation you enjoy was God’s gift of grace by faith (Ephesians 2:8). As a child of God, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrew 13:5-6). Be thankful for these things, and for anything else you enjoy from the hand of a generous, loving, merciful, caring Savior! Nothing less is acceptable in His sight.
