Our latest audio teaching is now available in CD or USB flash drive formats. This topic addresses the need for all Christians to be separated and sanctified to the Lord in the evil, last days we are now living in. Romans 1:1 reveals the “secret” to Paul’s strength and longevity for ministry, despite everything the devil tried to do to stop him. This teaching series will highlight and emphasize the points he understood and put into practice – points we must understand and apply in our lives today. If you want to keep your sword sharp for the Lord, even when surrounded by defeat, fear and compromise, get this teaching set today! Refer to the product section in this newsletter for details on how to order.
This month we feature the work taking place on the island of Cebu, where our churches are active with what they call “discipleship training”. This training includes street evangelism, where members of our churches are taken to public locations to praise the Lord and present the gospel with singing and preaching.
Our outreach teams set up shop in front of the markets, where all the traffic and pedestrian activity is the heaviest.
Members of the youth department take turns preaching the gospel, while other members of the team provide support with praise, worship and prayer.
We set up right in front of businesses like fruit stands and bake shops, wherever we want. That’s how open it is in the Philippines to preach the gospel publicly. We have no problems getting permits from the local police and government officials to do this whenever and wherever we feel the Lord is leading us.
We bring all our portable equipment, set up and start preaching! Most of our preachers are members of our youth department. We are training them and helping them get over the fear of public evangelism. We’re proud of them all, and we know God is pleased!
You can see the portable drum set we use for these street meetings. Its light, small and very easy to transport and use. We bring guitars, drums and whatever else we need to provide public praise, singing to the Lord before we preach the word of God.
Its extremely hot on the streets when we’re doing these outreaches, so the team tries to stay in the shade as much as possible. They and their equipment will move around as the available shade changes location.
Here you can see our team setting up right across the street from the city market. Hundreds of people are coming and going while the evangelism takes place. Due to the nature of this work, we can’t give altar calls like in a church or public park, but the salvation invitation is always given. I know firsthand that people respond privately, because I’ve done this sort of work myself, and we have testimonies of people being saved, whom we never saw or had physical contact with. The word of God never returns to Him void. Never!
We have a network of between 275 and 300 churches in the Philippines. Since 1980, I have gone wherever God leads me, and now our churches reproduce that same effort. We share the gospel in cities, villages and like you see here, in remote jungles untouched by the gospel. Your prayers and financial support enables us to do all of this. Thank you!
Wherever I go for God, He has me lay hands on people for healing. Recently in one of our services, I had a healing line and ministered to many. A few days later, this email was sent to me.
Hi Apostle Mike,
I wanted to send you a Big Thank you! My wife Debbie was healed of her scoliosis and all her back, shoulder and neck pain is gone!
She also had her dry eye problem healed as well.
I also wanted to thank you for my filling of the Holy Spirit at the men’s group meeting.
Thank you so much.
Praise God
F.P. Spencer, IA
Praise the Lord! Let me encourage you to contact us with prayer requests for healing, or for whatever else you may be in need of from God. There is an anointing upon me for such things, so take advantage of it if necessary. Contact us via email with prayer requests, and we will join faith-forces with you, in Jesus’ name.

In these perilous times, Christians need to prioritize their lives in every way possible. With a world paralyzed with fear for the future, the need for end-times separation is critical. We must be different! When Paul wrote his epistle to the Roman believers, he outlined the three basic areas that kept him steady and strong in the midst of intense persecution. We need to know what they are, and how we can be as steady and as strong as he was. In this teaching series, Apostle Mike identifies critical elements of awareness that creates a solid foundation for the challenging days in which we live. All of us need to know these things!

We appreciate your faithful prayers of agreement for these priority issues we’re dealing with now in the Philippines:
In the Philippines:
Fruitful Outreaches. Our churches continue to obey the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-18. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. Many salvations and re-dedications are taking place.
Ministry Income. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness (Psalms 37:3). As our COLD-WATER newsletters indicate, we’re busy on many fronts, sharing the gospel with young and old alike. Your support enables us to send our teams wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the on-going work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially and expect that to be the case as we move through the fall of 2022. We believe we’ll get back to the Philippines as soon as possible, to resume effective and full-scale ministry operations. But wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on, as we all stand in faith for complete victory over this global pandemic attack of the enemy.
RHEMA PHILIPPINES IS TAKING APPLICATIONS
Rhema Bible Training Center is aggressively seeking Christians who are called to do something significant for Jesus with their lives in these last days. This is the Bible school that trained and prepared me before I was sent to the Philippines in 1980. What I learned provided me with the knowledge and foundation for success in ministry. The good news is that our RBTC school in Ozamiz City is available to do the same teaching and training for Filipinos. This school will elevate your abilities to serve Jesus with excellence. This school prepares you for success as an Ambassador of Christ. Contact us for all the details, and how you can enroll in our next trimester of teaching that begins next January. Contact info: Rev. Cheryl Carbajosa, School Director @ 09382071739, or Rev. Emmie Cabanag, School Administrator @ 09127609333.

The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8
Words are the weapons of spiritual warfare. God creates with words (Genesis 1), and because we’re made in His image and likeness, we can create with our words as well. The devil has no answer for Christians speaking God’s word. It is final authority over anything and everything. Jesus used the spoken word three times to drive the devil away (Matthew 4:1-10), and we should be doing the same thing. Don’t spend your time using words to describe the magnitude of your troubles. Spend your time describing the magnitude of Almighty God. Do what this Roman Centurion did. He knew what we need to know. Speak God’s word, and then words that agree with God’s word. Nothing else. When you do, you give the Lord permission to be great in our lives. It always works this way. We do what we can, then God responds to do what we can’t. Distance is no problem for God either. Proverbs 19:7 says a person can pursue with words. Anywhere in the world, no matter where the spoken word of God needs to be applied, those words will change what needs to be changed. What we say is our choice, not God’s. Choose wisely. Think before you speak.
