Hello Apostle Mike,

I am the fellow who drove a long distance when I learned you would be ministering in Spencer, Iowa this past May. Today I finished listening carefully to the audio series, "Exhausted Pursuit." Not only is it outstanding teaching and ministry of the Word, but the timing of my listening was surely led of God. It made the points brought out in the messages even more impactful. I am grateful for your consistent, proven ministry. And it really blessed me that you mailed all the men at the Men's meeting in Spencer a free copy of "Be Strong! Stay Strong!" It has already ministered to me, and I still have the majority of the book to read. Also, I so appreciate "Cold Water" and "Christian Soldier," and the time you invest in the preparation of those emails. I look forward to their arrival each month. Be blessed,

My note: The drive time from Moline, IL to Spencer, IA is approximately 5 hours, 55 minutes. Total distance is approximately 331 miles. Brian drove all that way to attend our meetings in Living Word Church, Spencer, Iowa, pastored by Rev. Barb Dean.

Good Morning Mike and Ethel,

I received your voicemail late last night and am sending you the information you requested on the little boy named Zaden. I don't know his last name. He is 5 or 6 years old. He attended a camp with us this summer in June in the village of GuVo.The camp was outside and as you can imagine, "hot" is an understatement. Zaden attended camp with a younger sibling. I had brought with me a book of yours that I previously read and was reading again. The book was with all of my other "stuff", however, Zaden kept picking up the book and reading it. In his free time, I would often find him under the shade of a tree, intently studying a book. When I walked up and asked what he was reading he showed me your book. This was a daily occurrence. On the last day of camp, the kids were given the opportunity to pick a prize out of our prize box. Zaden asked if instead of selecting something from the prize box, if he could have your book. I asked, "Zaden, are you sure? This is a book for adults. Wouldn't you rather select a toy or something else from the prize box?". "No", he said. "I really would like to choose this book". So, of course, I gave it to him. I have honestly never seen anyone so happy to receive a gift! He spent the remainder of the day sitting under a tree studying your book. When I approached him, he was so happy. He said he was going to take this book home and ask his grandmother to read it to him. The smile on his face was one of pure joy. I asked if I could take his picture with his new book.

Here is young Zaden, holding my book which was such a blessing to him during their youth camp last June.

This experience made quite an impression upon all of the adults who were volunteering for the camp. They would see Zaden and ask, "What is he sitting over there reading"? Over the next several days, all of the adults knew he was reading "Susan's book". All of the adults were in disbelief at how he was drawn to this one book.

A humorous side note: the joke among the adults became that we really need to invest in better prizes for the prize box! (sorry Mike!) Well, I think this sums up the story of Zaden.

I will be calling you soon to discuss a day you and Ethel may be able to come to GuVo and minister to a woman out there who is waiting for you. She is expecting to be healed.

YOUTH CAMPS SUCCESSFUL

Here are our youth praising God during one of the night sessions at the Bonite Regional Youth Camp this past summer. We thank you for your support that makes these camps possible.

As we turn the corner from summer to fall, school is back in session in the Philippines. But for many, this past summer was a powerful time of outreach, as we conducted regional youth camps throughout the country.

This month we want to highlight our youth camp in the Bonite Region of Mindanao, which is the closest to our main headquarters compound in Ozamiz City. Youth attended from all over this part of the country, with anointed ministry, spiritual activities and fun games. Your support of MKMI enables us to help our churches conduct local and regional conferences like this to reach the youth of the Philippines.

Here is Pastor Ariel Bonite, our Regional Director for this area of the Philippines, praying for the youth as their band gets ready with praise and worship.

We love and treasure each one of these young people. We believe God is working in them mightily, to will and do of His good pleasure.

Our ministry theme for 2022 is “EYES UP”, taken from Luke 21:28. This was their camp theme as well. We want all our youth to lift up their eyes to God, because there is no reason to be fearful for the future.

It wouldn’t be a youth camp without tents!

Each afternoon games and activities were conducted on the grounds where this camp was held.

I’m glad they’re slithering through the mud and not me! Ah, to be young again!

EXHAUSTED PURSUIT

As Brother Brian testified in his letter above, this 7-CD set is jam-packed with powerful information we need to not only survive but thrive against the tests and trials of the devil in these last days. Don’t get weary! Don’t quit! Stand your ground. Stand in faith. God will never leave you, or forsake you! You may feel exhausted, but stay on track and stay in the race! Trust me when I tell you – this is a worthwhile purchase every Christian needs to have at their fingertips in the days ahead. Its available in CD disc or USB flash drive formats.

MILITARY MENTALITY

This is the book young Zaden couldn’t put down! Find out why! Go online at www.mkmi.org to order, or call our Tucson office to place your order directly.

We appreciate your faithful prayers of agreement for these priority issues we’re dealing with now in the Philippines:

In the Philippines:

Powerful Youth Outreaches. Through the summer of 2022, we’ve conducted regional youth camps throughout our ATWOC church network. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. Many salvations and re-dedications have taken place.

Ministry Income. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness (Psalms 37:3). As our COLD-WATER newsletters indicate, we’re busy on many fronts, sharing the gospel with young and old alike. Your support enables us to send our teams wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the on-going work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially and expect that to be the case as we move through the fall of 2022. We believe we’ll get back to the Philippines as soon as possible, to resume effective and full-scale ministry operations. But wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on, as we all stand in faith for complete victory over this global pandemic attack of the enemy.

RHEMA PHILIPPINES IS TAKING APPLICATIONS

Rhema Bible Training Center is aggressively seeking Christians who are called to do something significant for Jesus with their lives in these last days. This is the Bible school that trained and prepared me before I was sent to the Philippines in 1980. What I learned provided me with the knowledge and foundation for success in ministry. The good news is that our RBTC school in Ozamiz City is available to do the same teaching and training for Filipinos. This school will elevate your abilities to serve Jesus with excellence. This school prepares you for success as an Ambassador of Christ. Contact us for all the details, and how you can enroll in our next trimester of teaching that begins next January. Contact info: Rev. Cheryl Carbajosa, School Director @ 09382071739, or Rev. Emmie Cabanag, School Administrator @ 09127609333.

FACEBOOK LIVE STREAM – SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER SCHEDULE

Please take note of the dates for our upcoming live streams:

Dates: Sept. 29. October 6, 13, 27.

Time: 7:30pm Arizona time, which is 10:30am Philippine time, the next day.

Dates and times are always subject to change, per the leading of the Lord.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

The greatest gift God has given to us is free will. We can choose life, death, blessing, cursing, good or bad. It’s not up to God, and it’s not up to the devil. The Lord wants to bless us in this life and spend eternity with Him in heaven. The devil wants to torment us in this life and drag us to hell for all eternity when we die. But who does what is all up to us! God desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4), but He won’t violate our power of choice. He’ll let people reject Him if that’s what they want. Jesus stands at our front door and knocks, but He waits until we open the door and let Him in (Revelation 3:20). Choose Jesus. Make Him Lord of your life. Choose to live right, in every way. Choose to be a radical soul-winner for the Lord. Give God the opportunity to bring blessings, protection, provision and fulfillment into your life. It’s your choice!
