It's been 20 years....

Saturday, September 11, marks two decades since the destruction of the Twin Towers and the loss of thousands of lives in an act of terrorism that all too many of us witnessed just across the river. We would like to mark this solemn anniversary with your help. On Saturday, September 4, we are placing an open exhibit wall adjacent to the Circulation Desk at the Main Branch, 500 Park Avenue.

During the week of September 4 - September 11, we invite you to place original artwork, poems, and pictures commemorating that dark day on the
"Two Towers; Two Decades" display. On Monday, September 13, we will photograph these items for posterity, and place them on a dedicated, commemorative page on our website.
We wish you all the best.
