Greetings!
We are sending you this eNews to share some very exciting news about a special Story Time happening on Monday.

Join us as Admiral William McRaven reads his soon-to-be-released children's book -- Make Your Bed with Skipper the Seal -- in the Library's Large Program Room at 3:30 pm on Monday, November 15.

This is a registered Story Time; if you wish to attend, please register here.
"Skipper" is an entertaining children's adaptation of Admiral McRaven's #1 New York Times bestseller, Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life...And Maybe the World. In "Skipper," the Admiral shares life lessons from Navy SEAL training, and encourages young readers to become their best selves.
In a story geared to children ages 4 - 8, Skipper embarks on Navy SEAL training. Quickly he and his hardworking friends learn much more than how to pass a swimming test or how to dive off a ship. They learn that to be a great SEAL, you also have to take risks, deal with failure, and persevere through tough times—just as you do in life. (And always remember to make your bed!)

This Story Time will be recorded by a crew from "CBS Mornings," and be used as background video when the Admiral is interviewed live during Wednesday's CBS Mornings' show.

All precautions will be taken to preserve children's privacy, and to ensure COVID safety protocols are adhered to.

Space is limited, so if you wish to attend, please register now.
We hope to see you there!
