We regret to inform you of the death of Maxine Jacobson on Friday, May 27.

Maxine was the wife of the late Robert Jacobson; mother of Brenda Avitan, Andrea (Rami) Sochovlansky, Sheila Jacobson, and the late Monica (late Jeffrey) Jankowitz; grandmother of Ellie (Alex) Doctoroff, Shalem (Alina Tylman) Avitan, Izzy Avitan, Yair (Ayala) Sochovlansky, Natan (Shevi) Sochovlansky, Malka (Yanky) Greenwald, Tsipi (Moishe) Lebel, Elisheva (Yossi) Weinberg, Tirtzah (Tsvi Chaim) Epstein, and Eytan (Sarah Peng) Jankowitz; and great-grandmother of 35 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be today, Sunday, at 11:00 am at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home (111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette). The service will be live-streamed. Interment will be at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery in Arlington Heights.

There will be a nightly shiva minyan tonight (Sunday) through Thursday at 7:00 pm at the home of Brenda Avitan (5334 Grove in Skokie).
