Small Business Spotlight

The small business Spotlight of the Week is Emerge Gardens, owned by Jeremy S. Gwaltney.

Emerge Gardens is a Florida Department of Agriculture Certified Nursery, that offers the community access to fresh, healthy, and locally grown produce. They are very committed to natural growing practices, and refrain from using any herbicides or pesticides.

What's particularly impressive about this nursery is their display of a greenhouse tower, which demonstrates how you can cultivate a vertical garden right within your own home or backyard. It's an innovative way to grow your own produce in a compact space!

Go to: https://emergegardens.com/greenhouse/tower-garden-grow-a-healthier-you/ for more details.

They provide a diverse range of in-season seedlings for fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, grown in rockwool or coco coir mediums, perfect for your tower garden or direct soil transplanting.

They are open from Tuesday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm at 6427 Elliott Street in Punta Gorda. Additionally, there is a tent at the Punta Gorda’s Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon.

Contact Jeremy to place an order through our online store for a variety of fresh herbs, lettuce, and greens. Office: 941-271-0441 or Mobile: 770-598-2883

Check out their Facebook and Instagram page and sign up to have the chance to win a tower.
