Long before the first Christmas story happened, a miracle was prophesied. A promise was given. Have you ever been promised something or made an agreement that later failed to happen? A promise unkept is something nobody likes. I'm happy to announce that this Christmas promise was impossible to break, because God himself made it. He is a God of truth. A God that keeps His word. The promise was that God himself would come to be with us! Immanuel in Hebrew means, 'God with us'. Let's meditate on this promise as we go through these beautiful December days.
