Look Up at the Night Sky! | |

Quadrantid Meteor Shower
The Quadrantids are known for their very short but intense peak. The best night for viewing is from late night Jan 3 to dawn Jan 4. Lie flat on your back with your feet facing northeast. This shower can produce 100 meteors per hour under ideal conditions with no moon. A bright last quarter moon will rise around midnight.

Donate Your Car. Save on Taxes. Make a Difference. | |
Do you have a car, truck, motorcycle, boat, trailer or RV that is no longer being used? Donate your vehicle to ABDNHA! Vehicle donations are tax-deductible, and we make it easy with free pick-up and by providing you with the necessary tax receipts. | |

Here's how it works:
1. Submit your donation request. Call 855-500-7433 | 855-500-RIDE or submit an online vehicle donation form at https://careasy.org/nonprofit/anza-borrego-desert-association. Our Vehicle Donation Support Team will help complete the donation form and confirm your pick-up information.
2. Schedule your free vehicle pick-up. In most cases, your vehicle pick-up can be scheduled within three business days once the donation record has been completed. We arrange to have a licensed tow company pick up your vehicle at a time convenient for you. The vehicle will be taken to one of our many sale locations where it will be sold--all at no cost to you.
3. ABDNHA receives the funds, and you may qualify for a tax deduction! In most cases, when the driver arrives for your tax-deductible gift, you’ll be provided with the donation receipt. You will be mailed a thank-you letter within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle, which also serves as a donation tax receipt.
