The 2023 Vision and Action for Equity Summit is a free convening featuring California’s top higher education leaders, policymakers, academics, philanthropic partners, students, and advocates discussing how the state can lead the nation in advancing racial equity in higher education in a post-affirmative action world.
The Summit kicks off the Campaign for College Opportunity’s 20th anniversary year, celebrating the Campaign’s advocacy, coalition building, and voice in creating greater college opportunity for underrepresented, minoritized students.
During the Summit, the Campaign will release the much-anticipated update to our 2018 report, Left Out: How Exclusion in California’s Colleges and Universities Hurts Our Values, Our Students and Our Economy, together with a new Affirming Equity, Ensuring Inclusion, and Empowering Action publication on inclusive hiring practices.
