Industrial facilities tend to have wastes in the shape of energy, carbon emissions, and other pollutants. In this day and age of decarbonization and sustainability, it is imperative to identify waste in a plant and to take steps to mitigate them. This event focuses on the Department of Energy's (DOE's) pathway of decarbonization and Pollution Prevention techniques for a typical manufacturer and also highlights the no-cost DOE IAC and EPA P2 programs at UIC to assist manufacturers in energy and waste assessments.
