Fun Facts About the Author
As a kid, August meant Mom's birthday and a last-minute family vacation before school started. I remembered several trips to Ohio, where we visited with Mom's cousins who had a large lake on their farm. It was on one of these trips that I discovered my mom liked to ride motorcycles.

Each August I realize my mom gets younger every year. Happy Birthday, Mom!
