Early Care and Education Information



With the Stabilization Grant monies, the Division of Child Development and Early Education was able to hire a time-limited Consultant who started with us in late April. Her name is April Bosse. One of her roles is to assist with all facets of the Stabilization Grant. Please feel free to contact her with questions about the Stabilization Grant.

With more than 10 years of experience as a young child care educator and 8 years of experience as a Child Care Administrator, Ms. Bosse is passionate about partnering with you as we work to support the child care community. Ms. Bosse is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she obtained a Masters Degree in Leadership, Policy and Advocacy in Early Childhood.

You may contact Ms. Bosse by calling her at 910-709-4196 or you may email her at [email protected]. Ms. Bosse’s work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and her office day is each Friday.
