Inspire More

2020 has been a year filled with highs and lows. While it may be easy to reflect back on the year with sadness, frustration or regret, that is not a healthy nor productive space to stay. This doesn’t mean ignoring the challenging aspects of this year because let’s face it, it’s easy to name the challenges of 2020. Rather, when reflecting back on 2020, choose to also find the good that happened this year.

As you think back on this year, here are some questions for you to reflect upon for 2020 and to set your intentions for 2021:

  • How did I focus more on my family or personal life?
  • How did I grow professionally?
  • What is the most important thing I learned about myself this year?
  • How did I have fun?
  • What didn’t go well for me personally or professionally in 2020 that I want to change for 2021?
  • What positive aspects of 2020 do I want to carry over into 2021?

Wishing you peace and time for reflection as we wrap up 2020!

Professional Highlights & Dilemmas

While this year has shown us the untamable power of mother nature, the incredible dark and desolate side of a pandemic, the visceral intensity of social unrest, and a divisive national political arena, I have had the privilege to experience and catch humans at their best resilient selves!

Because of these resilient and courageous people, I am not only thankful that we have been forced to take stock of who and what we are, but I am excited to see what the new year will bring as surely, our ability to be resilient and innovative will continue to be exhibited in unexpected ways. I don’t know about you, but that gives me a sense of comfort and a little
bit of pride!
