THANK YOU for the love and support you give all throughout the year!
Thousands of our neighbors rely on Heart of the Hamptons to have enough to eat, a safe place to sleep, keep their homes warm, and bring comfort and joy to their children. It's only possible because of friends and donors like you! Make a year-end gift today to help families in need!

In 2022, we had 6,713 visits and provided 217,987 meals worth of food. In 2023, those numbers jumped to 10,463 visits and 346,438 meals. We almost can't believe it. But, our whole community stepped up too and what we accomplished together is pretty remarkable!
This year, we served 3,441 unduplicated individuals from 1,140 families. We welcomed 527 new families to our programs, representing nearly half of the those that visited us this year. And, we are most proud to report that 134 of the families we served in 2022 no longer needed our support this year.

In the month of December, we had 1088 visits to our food pantry, capping off a record setting year with another record breaking month. In addition to regular weekly groceries our customers also received special holiday meal bags packed with everything to share in the joy of the season. We made sure every family had milk and cookies for Santa, and all they needed for a festive holiday breakfast and a big family dinner.
We partnered with Denise Smith Meacham and Pastor Joanne Utley at the Hamptons United Methodist Church to gift hot meals on Christmas Day. Over 400 people received a delicious holiday meal prepared with love.
Thank you to our special Food Pantry helpers this month:
Tuckahoe Common School held a food drive and collected donations
Ocean Electric hosted a holiday food drive
Southampton Rotary Club donated 150 holiday meal boxes
Southampton Town Animal Control hosted a food drive
Tate’s and North Sea Farms donated bread and baked goods
Southampton Town Police donated baked hams
Golden Pear donated fresh bread
SES Community Service Club hosted a food drive
SIS Kiwanis Builders Club volunteered to pack grocery bags
We couldn’t do what we do without you and the constant support of LI Cares, Island Harvest and HAPCO Farms!
With the busiest months before us, will you help us ensure our neighbors have food for their families this winter?

A HUGE thank you to each of you that picked up a star and donated a gift. Together, we brightened the holidays for 643 local children. Our 31st Annual Holiday Star Program successfully distributed new gifts to 258 families. Allowing parents and caregivers to pick 2 toys per child or gift cards for teens, stocking stuffers, books, board games, pajamas, hats and gloves and socks generously provided by Bombas. Plus, each family was even able to pick out gifts given to us by ARF for their family pets.
We are so grateful to partner with the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton for this incredible week of joy! Thank you to all the businesses and organizations involved: Arf, The Pajama Program, Book Fairies, Bombas, Toys for Tots, Laura Weinbrecht and friends, 27 Hampton Salon, Childcare Center of the Hamptons, The Children’s School, Dime Bank, Fowlers Garden Center, Greek Orthodox Church, Hildreths, Jennifer McLoughlin Real Estate, Juice Press, La Carezza, Le Closet, Hamptons United Methodist Church, The Morley Agency, North Sea Hardware, Our Lady of Poland, Pellegrinos, Rogers Memorial Library, Southrifty Drug, St. Johns Church, Stevensons, Stony Brook Medicine, Therapy Life & Style, Baron’s Cove, Dime Bank, Emporium Hardware, John Jermain Library, Page Restaurant, Sag Harbor Variety Store, Sen Restaurant, Wharf Shop, Hampton Maid, Channing Daughters Winery, Quogue School, Schmidts, UBS Builders, Golden Pear, Hen of the Woods and La Parmigiana.
Our Holiday Star program represents the best of what we do. It's not about us. We are so proud to support parents and caregivers as they care for their families. Whether it's supplying holiday gifts, ensuring the lights stay on, or putting food on the table we want children to feel safe knowing their parents are able to provide for them.
