Voices for Change: An Evening with Our Allies December 5

This Thursday, you are invited to join us for a unique and unexpected opportunity to engage with two remarkable leaders who are dedicated to fostering dialogue and building bridges between Muslims and Jews. 

Imam Mohammad Tawhidi: Renowned as the Imam of Peace and a governing member of the Global Imams Council, Imam Tawhidi advocates for harmony and understanding among diverse communities.

Mr. Loay Al-Shareef: A Saudi-born resident of the UAE, Mr. Al-Shareef leverages his influential online platform to inspire peace and promote coexistence between Jews and Muslims.

Interfaith Holiday Concert

The Jewish Federation of Ottawa and CIJA invite the community to a concert of interfaith holiday music. Cantor Jason Green of KBI and Subdeacon Brian Butcher of the Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church and his choir will bring a selection of music that highlights the music of the December holidays and promotes unity and peace between all people.

Marking 20 years since Lorne began monthly sacred Hebrew chanting in Vancouver. Join us in Room 5 for uplifting group singing that helps clear your mind and open your heart. Her shows are a mix of observational comedy, witty storytelling, and sometimes even self-deprecating humour, which makes her performances both relatable and hilarious.
