Hello,

They say winter is a time for reflection. We agree and we'd like to add sketching to that saying. We hope you enjoy scrolling through our recent projects and can make time to sketch an idea of your own. Yes, even on a napkin.

Happy Holidays,

McInturff Architects

AWARDS
Our renovation to the house in ROYAL OAK recently won a Chesapeake Bay AIA Award and an Annapolis Home Magazine Award . At just over 200 feet long, this 1950s Chesapeake Bay waterfront rambler had, over time, rambled a little too far. So, when our clients asked for two new offices and some renovations, for a variety of reasons we proposed a tower. This allowed for a roof deck forty feet above the ground - a powerful way to experience the beautiful landscape of the Bay’s Eastern Shore.

RECENT EVENTS

POLITICS AND PROSE Thank you for attending the recent talk at Politics and Prose with author Boyce Thompson, featuring Mark McInturff, Colleen Healey and others. We enjoyed a thoughtful conversation about what makes a home. We look forward to getting out of the house even more in 2019. Sign up for event notifications.

RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECTS

This project gives new meaning to home office view . Wanting to spend more of their work hours close to family, a couple, who own separate businesses, asked us to provide private office spaces, a shared conference room, entertaining areas, a parking court, and private office entries. Entry to the new office wing is via a   delicately crafted footbridge across a narrow water weir. Both new offices and existing home overlook a new formal lawn that opens to the forest and river beyond. This is an office with a   view .
