This Christmas promises to be a unique one as we will not be able to celebrate in traditional ways. At the church where I serve, we are doing our best to find creative means to continue rituals like candle lighting and the singing of Silent Night, knowing that such things are meaningful parts of our Christmas experience and help us embrace the light of Jesus’ birth.
We know that this year has been one of adjusting to the pandemic and establishing new priorities. We are extremely grateful for your faithful support of our Association and the Shared Ministries Fund. In your gifts and in your prayers we find a source of light in the darkness. Please know that we hold each congregation and its members in our prayers as you celebrate Christmas this year. May the light of Christ’s hope shine upon you and may you find important ways to share that precious light.
Merry Christmas from the Board of Directors!
