New Joint Employer Definition on Hold

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) announced it will delay adoption and enforcement of its new Joint Employer definition until Feb. 26, 2024. It cited pending legal challenges, including a lawsuit which has been joined by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, as the cause of this delay. This is welcome news for hotel and lodging operators; Watch for more opportunities for you to help reach out to Congress on this topic in the coming months.
